Well, you’re not alone. I, too, have had a similar thought on this, so I decided to do in-depth research just for you. Wouldn’t you like to hear why your nails grow? OK cool. Here’s why.

Nails grow when they’re richly supplied with blood. The whole growth process starts from the powerhouse of the nail – the matrix then comes out as a nail plate. When cells within the matrix are bathed with enough nutrients and oxygen, which the blood carries, they get excited, and when this happens, new skin cells are produced.

Upon production of these cells in the matrix region, old skin cells are pushed out, and then, they lay on your nail bed as a nail plate. Let’s quickly look at how long your nails grow in a day.

Although the growth rate varies with the individual, fingernails grow at about 0.001 inches (0.1 mm ) a day on average. The growth rate, in general, can be affected by many factors such as age, climate, hormones, poor diet, medication, etc.

How To Grow Your Nails In One Day At Home Naturally

It’s not that hard to grow nails everyone will admire in one day. If it’s that hard, I probably won’t be telling you to read this article.

How To Grow Your Nails In One Day

Everyone has this secret recipe when it comes to growing nails. Like I earlier said at the beginning of this article, I promised I’m going to share my secret oil, which I’ve been using to grow my nails, with you.

And that oil is no other oil but Fractionated Coconut oil. I have been using this oil for years to grow clients’ nails, and I can recommend it anytime.

So without further delay, here’s how to grow your nails using coconut oil. There are two methods of using coconut oil to grow your nails. The first method involves applying the oil directly on your nails, while the second involves soaking your nails. Whichever method you prefer is entirely up to you, but you should know that the two approaches are both effective.

1. Direct Application

Take a reasonable amount of coconut oil and place them over your nails and cuticle. Work the oil by massaging them gently over your nails. Be gentle while at it, so you don’t damage or inflict injuries on your cuticle. Do this for about 5 minutes, after which you allow the oil to stay on your nails for as long as you want them to. Do this 3 – 4 times a day. (in the morning, afternoon, evening, and night. That’s before going to bed)

Now that you know how to apply them directly to your nails lets now look at how to do a DIY soak

2. DIY Soak

The first step to growing your nails in one day using coconut oil is to get a medium-sized bowl that can accommodate your fingernails. Empty some quantity of coconut oil into the bowl. It shouldn’t be too much, but it should be enough to cover your nails. Immerse your nails gently in the oil bowl, allow them to get soaked, and leave them in for about 30 – 1 hour. Do this three times a day, preferably in the morning, afternoon, and evening.

  • You can decide to leave the oil or probably go to bed with them but be sure to wear gloves so that you won’t stain your bedspread.
  • Before you attempt to do any of the methods mentioned above, be sure you’ve taken your bath. That way, the oil can penetrate the dipper.

If you can do this religiously 3-4 times every day for 1 week, you’ll be amazed how much your nails will grow.
